FAQ

What counsel and families ask

If your question is not here, call. Most of these came from consultations.

Consultations with counsel are complimentary. We can meet at the facility or at your office.

Questions and answers

Is Florida Intervault a bank?
No. It is a private, family-owned vault facility. It does not take deposits, lend, or offer banking services.
Are my contents FDIC insured?
No — and neither are the contents of a bank safe deposit box. That is a common misconception. Contents insurance is available separately through Lloyd’s of London.
What does a box cost?
From $795 a year for a 3×5×24 up to $12,500 for a 30×15×24. The monthly rate is the annual divided by ten.
Can staff open my box?
No. No staff member can open a client box unilaterally.
Do you comply with subpoenas and court orders?
Yes. We publish that position plainly so counsel can advise a client accurately before anything is placed.
Can a company or trust rent the box?
Yes. Rental through an LLC, trust, or corporate entity is standard here.
What are the access hours?
Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Counsel appointments available outside these hours on request.
Do you collect and deliver?
Yes. Low-profile armored transport covers all of Florida, in unmarked vehicles, under Lloyd’s coverage from pickup to vault.
Who can access the box during the absence?
Whoever is named at intake — a trustee, an entity officer, or an authorised agent. It cannot be added once the client is unreachable.
What if my items do not fit a standard box?
Custom and oversized storage is quoted individually — paintings, statues, and palletized bullion included.
Is this a way to hide assets?
No. Concealing property from a court, a creditor, or a forfeiture or restitution proceeding is unlawful and we will not knowingly assist it.
Do you serve outside Broward County?
Yes — Palm Beach and Miami-Dade regularly, and armored transport covers the whole state.

See the vault before you decide.

Tours are private and by appointment. You will see the vault door, the man-trap entry, and the box sizes in person. No account relationship is required to visit.
