Corporate Record Custody While a Principal Is Unavailable
A company does not pause because a principal does. Formation documents, share ledgers, minute books, and executed contracts still have to be produced on demand — by whoever is running the business in the meantime.
Consultations with counsel are complimentary. We can meet at the facility or at your office.

Why this matters
What goes wrong over a long term
Records kept at a business address depend on that address surviving, and on whoever holds the keys. Offices change hands, staff leave, and the person who knew where the minute book lived is unavailable. Regulated entities carry retention obligations that do not pause either.
How custody handles business & corporate records
- The box can be rented by the entity rather than by an individual, with named officers as agents.
- Agents can be added and removed as the business changes, with documentation.
- Air-gapped media vaulting handles drives and backup tape alongside the paper.
- Scheduled courier rotations continue without the principal being involved.
Which box size fits
Corporate books fit a 5×10×24. Entities rotating backup media alongside paper usually take a 10×10×24.
Common questions
- Can the company rent rather than the individual?
- Yes. Entity rental is standard, and it survives changes in who holds office.
- Can we change who has access?
- Yes, at any time, with documentation and the entity’s authority.
- Does this satisfy retention requirements?
- It provides the physical custody. Whether it satisfies a specific regulatory obligation is a question for the entity’s counsel.
Set custody up before the date, not after.
Tours are private and by appointment. You will see the vault door, the man-trap entry, and the box sizes in person. No account relationship is required to visit.
